How to Apply

Online application submission is preferred if possible. Neither option will influence admission decisions.

We provide PDF versions of all SCA application and recommendation forms. Students may use the PDF document to preview the entire application or complete as an alternative accessible option. Digital copies can be submitted via email and printed copies can be submitted via mail. Paper copies must be postmarked by Monday, March 2nd, 2026 to be submitted for consideration.

Eligibility
The SCA program seeks to serve students who demonstrate high levels of academic achievement and motivation. For the 2026 Application season we will be accepting applications from current Sophomores. Students are eligible to be considered for our program if they meet ONE or more of the following criteria:
- Qualify for free or reduced priced lunch, or otherwise demonstrate financial need
- Will be the first generation in their family to attend college (no parent graduated with a 4-year college degree)
Cost
There is no cost for participation in the Scripps College Academy; Scripps College and program sponsors cover all expenses.
